MindEdge's Quality Council includes experienced senior practitioners with years of relevant training, consulting, and project experience.
The Council ensures the accuracy, comprehensiveness, and relevance of MindEdge's Six Sigma, Lean, and Lean Six Sigma courses, certifications, and processes and oversees the awarding of Black Belts.
Quality Council Members
Dan Picard (Chair). Dan is a Business Content Developer and Senior Editor at MindEdge, a Certified ScrumMaster® (CSM), and Project Management Professional (PMP®) with more than 15 years of continuous improvement expertise. Dan has worked on the Project Management Institute's A Guide to the Project Management Body of Knowledge (PMBOK® Guide) and developed training and publications covering Lean, Agile, Six Sigma, and quality improvement applications.
Vincent Capasso. Vincent is Senior Director of Operational Design at Intralign. He has more than 30 years of various business leadership roles with the last 15 years focused on leading and fostering operational excellence in a wide variety of industries, including health care, manufacturing, service, and the public sector. Vincent holds an M.S. in Finance from Bentley University, a B.S. in Accounting from Southern New Hampshire University, received a Master Black Belt Certification from Six Sigma US/Texas Tech University, and a Black Belt Certification from Six Sigma Breakthrough Technology while a Business Unit Leader at W. R. Grace. He is a Fellow of the American College of Healthcare Executives.
Monica Connolly. Monica is an independent consultant with more than 25 years of experience in technical project management, process improvement, and business and sales operations and training, providing effective business solutions. She has led process improvement projects in media, financial services, transportation, and high technology. A Six Sigma Black Belt, Monica holds a B.F.A. in Visual Design from the University of Massachusetts (Dartmouth) and an M.Ed. in Instructional Design / Organizational Development from the University of Massachusetts (Boston).
Tony Rodriguez. Tony is president of Daniel Penn Associates, which provides a range of consulting support to clients focusing on improving the performance of operations, customer service, and quality to reduce the cost of the supply chain. Employing Lean Six Sigma among other tools, his firm has served a wide range of industry sectors including pharmaceutical, manufacturing, financial services, banking, utility, health care, and the federal & state government. He holds a B.A. in Political Science from the University of New Hampshire and attended the MBE Executive Program at Dartmouth's Tuck School of Business. He is CMC® (Certified Management Consultant) by the Institute of Management Consultants USA, an ISO/IEC 17024 Certifying Body.
Demetrios Venetis. Demetrios is the Chief Learning Officer of Xypnios and an executive coach for the Lean Leadership Institute. As a practitioner, he has led quality, Lean Six Sigma, and kaizen efforts in high technology, telecommunications, manufacturing, and automotive firms. Demetrios holds a Lean Six Sigma Master Black Belt from Entegris and a Six Sigma Black Belt from ASQ. He has taught at the University of Connecticut, Nichols College, and the University of Massachusetts (Lowell). Demetrios holds a B.S. in Plastics Engineering from the University of Massachusetts (Lowell) and an M.B.A. from Worcester Polytechnic Institute and has spent time in the doctoral program in business and management at the University of Connecticut.
